Welcome to Paradigm Polymer

Greetings. I am delighted to welcome you to the internet home of Paradigm Polymer, a relatively new manufacturer of precision plastic parts. When I say relatively new, it’s because while this company was founded in October of last year (2023), it’s actually been in the making for more than four decades. 

While the company is new, the Paradigm Polymer team have been working together for decades.

The origins of Paradigm Polymer begin with the founding of Parason Machine, in Deep River, CT, by my parents, Charles and Janice Paradis. They owned and operated Parason for four decades, and, before my most recent professional experience at Sikorsky as a Program Manager, I worked on and off at Parason in various capacities since I was a teenager and young adult. I learned this business from the ground up, and my roles have included everything from machine operator to quality control to shop foreman.  So, I bring all that experience and understanding to Paradigm. 

In addition, three key Parason employees have joined me here at Paradigm Polymer—the most recent shop foreman and toolmaker, Richie Poitras, the head of quality assurance, Wade Gennette, and Janice Paradis, our office manager. So, while Paradigm Polymer is relatively new, the team here represents over thirty years of experience and expertise in manufacturing precision plastic parts.  

Most of our primary operations are done with versatile and exacting Swiss Automatic screw machines.

What's more, in our initial incarnation, we have moved over half the Swiss Automatic screw machine, the centerless grinding capabilities, and all of the Secondary Operations equipment from Parason. Our vision is to supplement this with CNC and 3-D printing equipment as our customer needs evolve. But in the meantime, we will continue to be a go-to source for precision plastic parts for various industries and applications using our time-tested Swiss Automatics, and various secondary operations. 

Our skilled team will continue to deliver both short as well as long production runs while holding some of the tightest tolerances in the business. We can make this guarantee because of our track record as well as our approach to pre-production setup, on-site cutting tool manufacture, and the experience and expertise of the team.
