Last month marked Paradigm Polymer’s two-year anniversary, and our team took a moment to celebrate the milestones that have shaped our growth. Over lunch, we raised a toast to the customers whose trust drives us forward — and to the expanding capabilities that help us meet their evolving needs.

Paradigm Polymer president and founder Greg Munroe had this to offer about the occasion of our second anniversary: "When we started Paradigm Polymer, we anticipated there was an unmet need in the marketplace for a company possessing experience and expertise in manufacturing plastic parts with time-tested Swiss Automatic Machines. The last two years have proven that bet to be pretty accurate as we have both retained existing polymer parts customers as well as added others to our stable. To meet this need, we've actually had to add Swiss Automatic Machines to our footprint.
In terms of what's next for Paradigm, Munroe is excited about both our abilities in the Swiss Automatic space as well as utilizing other production techniques for plastic customers and beyond. "While the demand for Swiss-machined parts continues to grow, we know these customers also purchase parts manufactured with other capabilities as well as from other materials. We want to continue to be a go-to resource for these customers so we will continue to evaluate additional manufacturing capacity going forward as well as bringing other materials into our manufacturing expertise.
Expanding Our Swiss Automatic Capabilities

As mentioned by founder Greg Munroe, over the past six months we’ve expanded our Swiss Automatic machining footprint, increasing both capacity and precision to keep pace with growing demand. The new Swiss Automatic machines we've acquired are an investment which enhances our ability to produce tight-tolerance plastic parts at scale, add additional functionality and manufacturing techniques during primary operation and lay the groundwork for future machining capabilities.
Our customers rely on us for the kind of precision, consistency, and material expertise that an experienced plastic machining partner can provide — and this latest expansion ensures we can deliver on that promise for years to come. Read more.
Adding to Our Educational Materials Library
We’ve also continued to expand our library of educational materials, with detailed overviews of some of the most widely used engineering plastics. Recent additions include:
PEEK: Renowned for its exceptional strength, outstanding temperature resistance, and

superior dimensional stability, PEEK has become the preferred material for applications where reliability and performance are mission-critical.
Its unique combination of advantageous mechanical and chemical properties make it ideal for demanding industrial, aerospace, and medical environments, ensuring that parts maintain their integrity even under extreme conditions. Engineers and designers often select PEEK when only the highest level of durability and precision will suffice. Read more.
UHMW: Renowned for its exceptional wear resistance and naturally self-lubricating

properties, UHMW is the material of choice for components subjected to continuous friction, heavy impact, or abrasive environments.
Its toughness and low-friction performance help extend the service life of parts while reducing maintenance needs, making it especially valuable in demanding industrial, automotive, and food-processing applications. Designers and engineers rely on UHMW whenever durability, smooth operation, and resistance to extreme wear are essential for reliable performance. Read more.
Spotlight: Circular Cable Connectors

Our newest industry spotlight takes a deeper look at the role of precision-machined plastics in circular cable connectors — essential components used across harsh and demanding environments where long-term reliability and consistent performance are critical.
These connectors rely on advanced, engineered polymers not only to maintain durability and seal integrity, but also to provide stable performance under pressure, resist environmental stressors, and support extended service life in mission-critical applications.. Read the full article
As we look back on our first two years, we’re grateful for the trust of our customers and partners who make our progress possible. The journey ahead is exciting — and we’re proud to keep advancing, one precision part at a time.
