Swiss CNC technology gives us the ability to efficiently produce highly complex turned polymer parts with tight specifications and multiple features that might otherwise require several machining operations.

The parts pictured here provide a sense of that complexity. They include a precision bobbin used in military, commercial and scientific applications; miniature multi-channel honeycomb insulators for RF coaxial cables, connectors and cable assemblies; and miniature ferrules for advanced fuel-control applications. Though extremely small, these components can incorporate intricate geometries, multiple features and demanding tolerances.

Multi-axis CNC machining allows turning, milling, drilling, threading and other operations to be performed in a single setup, providing the precision, repeatability and process control these types of engineered polymer components require. CNC machining also provides greater flexibility for prototypes, product development and shorter production runs, allowing customers to test and refine components before moving into larger-scale manufacturing.

With our expanded capacity, Paradigm Polymer can support virtually any turned plastic component produced from bar stock up to one inch in diameter—from a prototype or short run of a complex component to established parts produced in much larger quantities.

These advanced functions give us the ability to efficiently manufacture even more complicated part geometries and features while maintaining the precision and repeatability our customers require. Having both technologies allows us to choose the manufacturing process that best fits each customer's application, serving our customers from prototype to production.
